WHAT KIT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME FOR?

Do I need to bring any paperwork? Yes! We can't allow anyone on our sessions without a consent form (signed by a parent or guardian for U18's).  So please fill this in and bring it with you.

For a watersports session?   All you are required to bring is a pair of old shoes (that aren't going to come off while in the sea) that you don't mind getting wet and sandy; a t-shirt to wear underneath a wetsuit (wetsuit is provided) and a towel and shower gel/shampoo for after the session is finished.  Everything else is provided.

For a indoor or dry session?   Something comfortable to do sport in, ie shorts, tracksuit bottoms that don't restrict leg movement.  And also a top that covers your middle (to stop a harness rubbing on your back and front).  It is also recommended that you take out any belly button piercings and remove any rings, dangly jewellery, necklaces and expensive watches.  You may also want to bring a drink.

For a classroom/shorebased course (VHF, Dayskippers etc)?    You will need to bring any course books that have been sent out prior to the course and a notebook and pen to take notes with.  For full day courses you will need to bring a packed lunch with you.  (There is cafe's/Fish and Chip shop next to the centre).  For the VHF course you will also need to bring a passport size photograph with you.

For a powerboat course?   It is recommended that you bring warm clothes, waterproofs and wellies for powerboating courses.  For full day courses you will need to bring a packed lunch with you or some money for the local cafes. For Powerboat Level 2 course you will also need to bring a passport sized photograph with you.
